The ham radio community here in Pittsburgh lost this morning. Andy, K3MOB, formerly WA3PBD passed away July 17th morning. He owns several repeaters in the area. 146.730 being the most popular. Members of Two Rivers ARC helped with setup and take and other needs at the Lincoln VFRC Car Show.
The Two Rivers ARC repeater house received a Make Over and Face Lift. Members washed down and painted the outside. An addition was added to the house to store other club equipment

Jim Bricker N3JHB explaining to Councilman Jason D. Russell how Amateur Radio works and uses in an emergency. Councilman Jason D. Russell had left the Field Day site this afternoon. He came back with his wife Amanda (pink shirt). She wanted to talk on the Radio. She made several contacts.
Two Rivers ARC members and quest at the Hams and Eggs Breakfast at Rock Run Inn at Butlers Golf Course, Elizabeth PA. This event is held on the second Saturday of every month. You don’t have to be a member all are welcome.

Hope everyone has enjoyed all the May flowers. As we progress forward into June and dream of Field Day operations, the Club has the following activities planned for June.
June 13 is the next gathering. Everyone is welcome you do not have to be a Two River ARC member. This Operations Night Two Rivers ARC will be hosting a class in the Prep and Operation of ARRL Field Day.
For more than 50 years, military and amateur stations have taken part in this event, which is an interoperability exercise between amateur and government radio stations. The event is open to all licensed amateur radio operators and will not impact any public or private communications.
Members of Two Rivers ARC with Allegheny County ARES and various ARC members were on hand providing Emergency Communications. The pictures and video were one of the Aid Stations. The music playing in the video below is being played for the runners. Turn your volume on.
