TRARC Activities for January 2026

Members,
HAPPY NEW YEAR! The Club has the following activities planned for January to ring in the new year.

Thursday, January 8th will be our operations night beginning at 7pm at the Lincoln Borough VFD 184 Social Hall, 4312 Liberty Way, Elizabeth 15037. We use the Club call W3OC which allows Technician and General Class operators to operate on all bands (Extra Class operators will be there to assist). If you or someone you know wants to learn more about operations, please come out and we will help. Starting this month, the Club will host the Thursday night 10m Gabnet during Operations Night.

Saturday, January 10th is the Club’s Hams and Eggs Breakfast. It will be held at the Butlers Golf Course Rock Run Inn, 800 Rock Run Road, Elizabeth 15037 starting at 9:30 am. Please join us for a great breakfast and great company.

Tuesday, January 13th will be our next Club board meeting at 7pm via Zoom. Jim Bricker N3JHB will issue an email to the board members concerning the agenda and the Zoom log-in.

Tuesday, January 20th will be our next Club meeting at 7pm at the Blaine Hill VFD Main Hall, 409 Oxford Ave, Elizabeth, PA 15037. The major subject will be the preparations for Winter Field Day.

Saturday, January 24th to Sunday January 25th will be Winter Field Day. It will be held at the Lincoln VFD 184 Social Hall (same as our Operations Night). Field Day begins at 2pm Saturday and runs to 2pm Sunday. We will be setting up Saturday morning. I will send out an email after the plans are finalized. Please come out and operate.
