Announcement: Fox & Hound Hunt and Direction Finding Saturday June 14, 2025
Two Rivers ARC W3OC Hosting
TRARC will be hosting a Fox and Hound Hunt at Round Hill Park from 12:00pm – 2:00pm. The park is easy to find; it’s South on RT51 approximately 3 miles South of the Elizabeth bridge. It’s a left turn on to Round Hill Rd and then about a 1/2 mile.
Meet at the parking lot above Harmony House Grove before noon (11:30am).
The transmitter (Fox) will be operating on 2m and the frequency and mode will be provided before the hunt.
A beam antenna will be provided if you do not have one on a first come first serve basis.
We will be searching in the Boy Scout camping area across the road.
Thursday June 12th Operations Night
We’ll gather at Lincoln Boro VFD Social Hall, 4312 Liberty Way, Elizabeth PA at 7:00pm to build Fox Hunting (3 element Yagi Uda) antennas.
All are welcome, you don’t need to be a member of TRARC.
