TRARC Activities for July 2025

Members,
It was a warm, muggy June and as we are all recovering from Field Day, the Club has the following activities planned for July.

Tuesday July 8th will be our next Club board meeting at 7pm via Zoom. Jim Bricker N3JHB will issue an email to the board members concerning the agenda and the Zoom log-in.

Thursday, July 10th will be our operations night beginning at 7pm at the Lincoln Borough VFD 184 Social Hall, 4312 Liberty Way, Elizabeth 15037. We use the Club call W3OC which allows Technician and General Class operators to operate on all bands (Extra Class operators will be there to assist). If you or someone you know wants to learn more about operations, please come out and we will help.

In addition to operating, we will be bringing the donated ham radio equipment for everyone to see and inspect. This equipment will be offered to Club members first before we sell anything. I will send a list of the equipment before operations night.

Saturday, July 12th is the Club’s Hams and Eggs Breakfast. It will be held at the Butlers Golf Course Rock Run Inn, 800 Rock Run Road, Elizabeth 15037 starting at 9:30 am. Please join us for a great breakfast and great company.

Tuesday, July 15th will be our next Club meeting at 7pm at the Blaine Hill VFD Main Hall, 409 Oxford Ave, Elizabeth, PA 15037. Discussions will include results from Summer Field Day, planning for the August Club picnic, and other interesting topics.
