Hello Fellow Two Rivers ARC W3OC Members

Hello Fellow Club Member:

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for continuing to be a club member and to also take a look back at what all we have accomplished in the past year.
As I began to compile the list of accomplishments, I was amazed at how much we have done.
So let’s get to it and begin:
(Not in any particular order)

Worked Winter Field Day at the Lincoln VFC Social Hall
Removed the tree at the Lincoln site
Painted the Lincoln site building
Added a storage shed at the Lincoln site
Cleaned out the club trailer and removed all picnic related items
Procured cost effective internet service at the repeater site
Added EchoLink to our repeater systems
Worked PA QSO Party at the Lincoln VFC social Hall
Hosted a successful and profitable Hamfest
Hosted a successful Field Day event
Added storage shelving inside the Lincoln site
Hosted an enjoyable Holiday Party
Became a 501c3 non-profit organization
Secured a PA sales tax exempt certificate
Provided free T shirts for everyone that participated in Field Day
Obtained club-labeled merchandise to sell as fund raisers
Created the position of Compliance Officer
Created the Ways and Means Committee
Migrated from TRARC.net to TRARC.org Website
Purchased a Yaesu digital Repeater
Hosted a successful and fun Picnic
Approved several new member applications
Assisted Lincoln VFC with their Car Show
Assisted Blaine Hill VFC with their functions
Sold strip tickets to support our repeater operations
Hosted several Operations Nights at Lincoln VFC Social Hall
Hosted quarterly VE sessions along with a session at our Hamfest
Secured a new location for our 2025 Hamfest
Participated in N3F Fire Prevention special event station operation
Successfully repaired the UHF repeater power amplifier
Added the 40m Net on Fridays
Placed the UHF repeater on the air at Lincoln
Hosted several Hams and Eggs Breakfasts with great participation
Attended several other organization’s Hamfests

To anybody that had anything to do with any of the activities listed, I personally want to thank you very much for your donated time and effort. Your participation is very much appreciated.

If I missed any accomplishments, I apologize.

2024 was a year of progress for our club and I see more to come in 2025. I encourage each of you to participate when you can. Come to our meetings or check in via Zoom to find out what is currently happening.
