Two Rivers Amateur Radio Club added 40 Meter GabNet on or near 7.215 Friday night starting at 6:00pm
Hope everyone has recovered from Winter Field Day as it was a great time. As we look forward to the last month of Winter (I believe in March 1st as the start of Spring), the Club has the following activities planned for February.
It’s been a while since I have written to the membership, so I think a New Year’s message is in order.

Happy New Year!!! The Holidays are behind us and I hope everyone has recovered from New Year’s Eve partying (I was a good boy and was in bed before midnight). As we look forward to the new year and all our resolutions, Two Rivers ARC has the following activities planned for January.
Operations Night this evening we has a Class on how Antenna Tuners work and don’t work by Jim Bricker N3JHB. Then on to operating radios.
The Holidays are upon us and I hope everyone has recovered from overeating on Thanksgiving. As we await Santa Claus, the Club has the following activities planned for December.
W3OC repeater in its new home, working better than was expected. We’ve added a sign on the door to the repeater house. We’ve moved the repeaters (2 meter and 70 centimeters) to a new location. Higher elevation, clear of any obstructions.
Two Rivers ARC Operations Night has grown and expanded. Truth is, there was no set plan as to what Two Rivers ARC members would do for Operations Night. Turns out we’ve been doing anything and everything Amateur Radio related. Initially members were learning FT8 at the first gathering, that got the ball rolling. Discussions:Antenna design…
Fall is still with us, the leaves are falling to the ground, and the first snow arrived. As we await the heavier snow, the Club has the following activities planned for November.
